French Pharmacie

My sister went to Paris recently, so I had her pick up some skincare favorites and new products for me to try.DSC_0493
Embryolisse Hydra-Masque This is my first time purchasing this facial mask. I've used it once so far, and it's super hydrating. So hydrating that I didn't feel the need to apply moisturizer after rinsing it off, which is pretty crazy (for me especially). It's a cream consistency so it's just like applying a moisturizer, then you leave it on for 10-15 minutes and rinse. My skin instantly felt softer and looked more plump and radiant. If you have dry or combination skin, I would definitely recommend this.
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentrè (24-Hour Miracle Cream) This is one of my holy grail skincare products. I always keep a tube in my beauty cabinet. Whenever my skin is being weird (dry, sensitive, irritated, etc.) I use this and it immediately soothes and hydrates my face. This is honestly the most hydrating face cream I have ever tried. The only reason I don't use this daily is because I like to switch up my moisturizers.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O If you read my skincare routine post, you already know how much I love this stuff so I won't go into too much detail. I will say that I've put several people onto this and every single one of them is hooked. It's just like crack and I'm a drug pusher.
Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream Okay this isn't from France, but I thought I'd include it. This would honestly be the perfect day cream if it had some SPF protection but whateva. Thirty actual rose flowers go into each tube of this. Your face will smell like a gotdamn rose. Your face will also love you because this product is full of all types of great things like avocado oil, and it's 100% percent natural and organic. It literally seals in moisture so your skin will look glowy and gorgeous. I really feel like I'm feeding my face when I use this (in the best, least creepy way possible).
Avène Cicalfate Restorative Skin Cream I haven't used this yet, but I've read great reviews about it. I've also used tons of other Avène products and have yet to be disappointed. This particular cream is meant for post procedure or wounded skin; I have neither but I think it'll work wonders for my skin when I'm breaking out and even after when my breakouts are healing. It basically creates the optimal healing environment for your skin.
Homeoplasmine This is multipurpose homeopathic pomade that is meant to heal cracked skin, bruises, scratches, acne, burns, dry skin, dry lips, etc. Some makeup artists even use this as a makeup primer, which I kinda want to try because it's super hydrating and has this silky matte finish to it that I think would be a great base. I've mainly been using it for dry cuticles, dry lips, and scratches from my very loving cat. If you can't get your hands on this, try Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, which I also really like and is quite similar except Elizabeth Arden doesn't have that matte finish to it and isn't quite as versatile.
Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm Honestly, stop complaining about your chapped lips and just cop this. It was apparently tested in some crazy extremely brick conditions in Canada so you know it's legit. And it smells like lemon and honey, what more do you want?

  1. Stop whatever you day job is, and just go ahead and become an esthetician. You got me feeling extra bougie right now, wanting to buy EVERY single product you listed in this and your skin care post.
